MUSEOS
The PRE-COLUMBIAN ART MUSEUM.-
Was an Inca ceremonial court around 1450 A.D. In 1580 became into the MANSION of the conqueror Alonso Díaz and in 1850 of the Earl of Cabrera . It was restored to be the PRE-COLUMBIAN ART MUSEUM since June 2003.
This extraordinary Cusco historic monument, holds the only museum in Perú dedicated to rebound the arts of ancient peruvian cultures.

The collection of 450 master pieces date from 1250 B.C to.1532 A.D. They were selected among 45,000 objects located at the storages of the Larco Museum in Lima, by curators Fernando of Szyszlo, famous painter, and Cecilia Bákula, prestigious Art Historian.
The exhibition uses texts in spanish, english and french to emphasize the artistic context of the collection displayed in 11 showrooms inside the museum. Its galleries were designed to meet the highest standards of modern museography enabling the visitors to admire Pre-Columbian art in its best expresion.

Almirante s/n. Belongs to the National university of San Antonio Abad del
Cusco, it has a great possessions of many archeological inka remains.

ARZOBISPAL
PALACE:
Used to be
the residence of Inca Roca, afterwards it belonged to Fray Vicente de
Valverde, and the marquéz de Rocafuerte. Nowadays the Museum of Religious
Art is located here.
Its walls
are all of inka origins and right next to it you can find the famous
Twelve Angle Rock. The balcony and the little temple are quite important
as well.
PALACIO
DEL ALMIRANTE:
Built by Don Francisco
Maldonado Anaya and Altamirano, after them it was handed to Don
Francisco Alderete and Maldonado until 1821. Nowadays it is the
National University San Antonio Abad del Cusco Museum, where you can find
ceramics,materials, momies and a lot more.

DE LOS CUATRO BUSTOS:
Located in
San Agustin # 400, preciously decorated, the engraved protrait of the
house is made in one whole rock, showing four Bustos, the house originally
belongs to the Salas Valdéz Family.The Hotel Libertador is located inside
the house.

CABRERA:
Located in
the plaza de las Nazarenas, the protrait of the house as many others is
quite well ornamented, it has spacious backyards and gardens.

DEL INCA GARCILASO DE LA VEGA:
Located in
the conjuction of the streets Garcilaso and Heladeros, it belonged to the
fabulous writer Garcilaso de la Vega, it was built on Inka walls combined
with a colonial touch. today is the Regional Historic Museum, where you
can find colonial and inka remains.

DEL MARQUEZ DE PICOAGA:
Built under
the order of Don José Picoaga and Arbiza on the 18th century, around 1745
and 1751. It is located on Santa Teresa St.

DEL MARQUEZ DE VALLEUMBROSO:
Located at
Marquez St with an enornous portrait,on this area you can find a
renascentist buliding. It functions now as the Escuela de Bellas
Artes.

Built on
the 18th century, it is located on Garcilaso St.
