¿WHAT DO I NEED TO VISIT CUSCO?

>>TOURIST TICKET
To visit the tourist places of the city of Cusco is necessary to have a tourist ticket you can get one in:

-  Sol Av.Nro. 103 of. 102 (Tourist Galeries)
   Telf. 22-7037 -  Schedule of attention: 8:00 to 18:00 
-  Mantas Street Nro.117-a(Building el Cuadro). 
-  On the corner of Garcilaso street and Heladeros s/n Telf. 22-6919.

The cost of the Tourist ticket by categories is.

CATEGORY	COST
- The whole ticket	S/.70.00
- The half ticket	S/.40.00
- Students(*)	S/.35.00

(*)Students that have the ISIC's carnet they must be younger than 28 years old.
- All the tickets are valid from 5 to 10 days.

Cusco: Museum of Art and Monastery of Santa Catalina, Municipal Museum of Contemporaneo Art, Regional Historico Museum, Museum of Site of the Qoricnacha, Museum of Popular Art, Center Qosqo de Arte Nativo Danzas Folkloricas, Pachacuteq Monument, Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay, Tipon, Pikillacta
Sacred Valley: Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero.

Exists other important places that doesn't includes the ticket for example: The Qoricancha Temple,La Merced Temple, and the Inca's museum so you have to pay aditional prices:

>>RECOMENDATIONS TO VISIT THE CITY OF CUSCO:

>>TRANSPORTATION :
To visit the tourist atractives in the city the same that are includes in the tourist ticket you'll need to do a City Tour by bus, these cost approximately between 17 and 25 dolares including guide, you'll visit 6 places from the ticket.
If you are in good shape you can do it walking.

>>THE SAFETY: 
If is possible use the allowed taxis;a signal and a phone number on the roof indentify them. Avoid dark streets.Don't walk too far on the night.Don't carry all your money and credit cards with you.Don't give signs of richness, leave the cameras in the hotel if you go to the market.Take care after visting the bars and night clubs.Don't buy or take drugs is illegal..

>>MONEY EXCHANGING
To exchange dollars or traveler's checks we recommend to use the exchanging houses.There are lots of it in the Main Square and in Sol avenue. You can do it also in the hotels, restaurants and stores but with a lower exchange. The majority of the banks are located in Sol Av. many of them accept Visa, MasterCard and Cirrus . 
- Actually the dollar exchange is: S/.3.35.
- The exchange of the Euro is approximately : S/.4.00.

>>TAXIS
The taxi service is available day and night. The prices to the downtown are:
S/.2.50 a S/.5.00(until 10:00 p.m)
S/.3.50 a S/.10.00 (after 10:00 p.m)
From or to the airport : S/.5.00
